Please read these Terms & Conditions (Terms) carefully. By using the Refuel website, mobile apps, or services (Service), you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Definitions
"Refuel", "we", "us" means Refuel (the platform operator). "User", "you" means any person using the Service, including Customers, Drivers, and Vendors. "Services" means the marketplace functionality, ordering, delivery, payments, and related services.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into binding contracts. Vendors must hold required licenses; Drivers must hold valid licenses and insurance. By registering you warrant that the information you provide is true and complete.
Account Registration & Security
You must register and maintain an account. Keep credentials secure and notify Refuel immediately of unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity on your account.
Services and Relationships
Refuel provides a platform connecting Customers, Vendors and Drivers. Refuel is a technology platform where Vendors sell products, Drivers provide transport services. Refuel does not itself sell fuel unless explicitly stated in-app.
Payments, Fees & Settlement
Payments are processed through third‑party payment providers. By using paid features you authorize Refuel and its payment partners to charge your selected payment method. Refuel charges transaction fees; Vendors and Drivers agree to the stated commission and settlement terms.
Cancellations, Refunds & Disputes
Order cancellation policies vary by product and Vendor. Refunds are processed following investigation and the Refund Policy in the app. Refuel may withhold funds where fraud or disputes are suspected.
Vendor & Driver Obligations
Vendors and Drivers must comply with applicable laws, safety guidelines, and platform rules. Vendors guarantee product authenticity and quality. Drivers must handle fuel safely and follow delivery instructions.
Prohibited Uses
Do not use the Service to: list or transport prohibited goods, commit fraud, infringe IP rights, or violate laws. Refuel reserves the right to suspend accounts that breach these rules.
Intellectual Property
All platform content, trademarks, and copyrights are owned by Refuel or licensors. Users may not copy or use Refuel IP without permission.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Refuel and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the fees paid by the affected party in the preceding 12 months.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Refuel harmless from any claims arising from your use of the Service or breach of these Terms.
Termination
Refuel may suspend or terminate accounts for violations or for operational reasons. Users may close their accounts per the account settings; certain obligations (e.g., payments) survive termination.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria. Parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria, unless otherwise agreed.
Changes to Terms
Refuel may update these Terms. We will notify users of material changes. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
